La región centroamericana se nos presenta como un espacio por si mismo interamericano, el centro negado de américa en el que se pueden identificar complejos procesos históricos, sociales y culturales. Durante varios momentos de su historia se han generado varios flujos migratorios con diferentes ritmos y sentidos, los cuales han influenciado la creación literaria en la región. Sin embargo, hablar de movimiento en la literatura centroamericana debe ir más allá de una narrativa de migración. Esta involucra tanto desplazamientos internos, permanencias y relaciones identitarias e (in)movilidades.
Pensar a la literatura de Centroamérica desde la perspectiva de movimiento, reconfigura la manera de tratar las complejas conexiones presentes en la región, tanto internas (que refuerzan sus fronteras) como externas (que las traspasan). El objetivo de este seminario es discutir mediante el análisis de textos literarios la que se presenta como una poética del movimiento en la literatura contemporanea centroamericana.
