Klinische Studien haben zum Ziel, medizinische oder psychologische Interventionen, z.B. (Psycho-) Pharmaka, Therapien, Schulungsprogramme, bei Patienten oder gesunden Probanden hinsichtlich Wirksamkeit und Verträglichkeit zu überprüfen. In dem Seminar soll eine Einführung in die Methodik klinischer Studien, insbesondere deren Planung und Auswertung, gegeben und an Beispielen veranschaulicht werden. Dabei soll auch auf mögliche Fehlerquellen eingegangen werden und wie man versucht, diese zu vermeiden. Da es sich um Forschung am Menschen handelt, sind auch ethische und rechtliche Aspekte und Richtlinien zu beachten.
