Poetischer Rhythmus in der Moderne: Formen und Formreflexion
Thema des Kurses sind Formen des poetischen Rhythmus in deutsch-, französisch- und englischsprachiger Literatur. Als historische Orientierungspunkte dienen die Epochenschwellen 1800 und 1900, während derer sich die dichterischen Experimente mit Metren und Rhythmen häufen.
Anhand von rhythmisierten literarischen Texten und poetologischen Erläuterungen werden sollen Fragen verfolgt werden, die für die rhythmische Gestaltung von literarischen Texten in der Moderne leitend sind: In welcher Beziehung steht der poetische Rhythmus zum ‚Gehalt’? Was ist das Verhältnis zwischen Vers und Prosa? Welche Bezüge werden durch Rhythmisierung zwischen der Literatur und anderen Künsten (etwa Tanz und Musik) gestiftet?
Die Texte werden als Scans zur Verfügung gestellt.

The binding module descriptions contain further information, including specifications on the "types of assignments" students need to complete. In cases where a module description mentions more than one kind of assignment, the respective member of the teaching staff will decide which task(s) they assign the students.
Die Studienleistung besteht in der Erarbeitung einer kommentierten Bibliographie zu einem gewählten Thema. Als Prüfungsleistung verfassen die Seminarteilnehmer eine Hausarbeit von ca. 12 Seiten.
