300045 "Fenster der Verwundbarkeit“ - (Super-)Held*innen im Film (BS) (WiSe 2018/2019)

„Leben ist ein Fenster der Verwundbarkeit: es zu schließen, wäre ein Fehler.“ Diese Formel aus Donna Haraways Biopolitik postmoderner Körper will das Seminar in einem sehr speziellen Sinn nachgehen: Inwiefern werden die geschlechtlichen Dimensionen dieser Verletzbarkeit des Lebendigen in der (Super-)Held*innen Filmschwemme nicht nur der letzten Jahre ausgetragen. Wie werden Sorge, Un/Verletzbarkeit und Geschlecht in diesen Filmen dramatisiert, verhandelt, hervorgebracht? In welchem Verhältnis stehen sie zu den Dezentrierungsdynamiken dieser Zeit, die vielleicht nicht nur Fragen der Performativität von Geschlecht, sondern Fragen einer posthumanistischen Performativität (Barad) der Verschränkung mit dem Nichtmenschlichen aufwerfen? Auf diese Fragen hin werden wir uns einige dieser (Super-)Heldinnenfilme einmal genauer anschauen.
