Mit der Exkursion soll praxisnah Einblick in den Kunsthandel mit alter und zeitgenössischer Kunst in Berlin gegeben werden. Während der dreitägigen Exkursion werden verschiedene Formen des Handelns mit Kunst kennengelernt und mögliche Praktikums- und Beschäftigungsmöglichkeiten für angehende Kunst- und Bildwissenschaftler erschlossen: Auktionshandel, klassischer Kunsthandel, Galeriewesen und Atelierbetrieb. Die Exkursion ermöglicht von Experten direkt Auskunft über die vom Arbeitsmarkt gewünschten Studieninhalte und Fähigkeiten zu erhalten und Kontakte zu knüpfen. In Kurzreferaten wird sich der historischen Entwicklung des Berliner Kunsthandels und verschiedenen theoretischen Aspekten des heutigen Kunstmarktes gewidmet.
