Contents, comment

Are you interested in or curious about communicating interculturally? This class will give you that opportunity! As part of the Erasmus + project, members of this class will work directly with a tandem partner from the Pazmany Peter Catholic University in Hungary. This class will focus on intercultural communication theories, as well as looking at these theories in context. Additionally, while briefly reviewing the tradition of argumentation and its connections to other areas of communication study, such as rhetoric and persuasion, we will also look at the practical use of functional language structures for moving towards resolution, and agreement or disagreement in the intercultural context. Come join us for a unique communicative experience that at the same time improves your English rhetoric skills!

Please note! Activities will include homework assignments that will involve communicating with an assigned tandem partner from our partner class at Pazmany Peter Catholic University in Hungary as part of the Erasmus + program.
