In diesem Seminar sollen die Studierenden der frühen Semester des 'MA Interdisziplinäre Medienwissenschaft' einen Einblick in die verschiedenen Forschungsfelder der sozialwissenschaftlichen Medien- und Kommunikationsforschung gewinnen. Dabei werden grundlegende Begriffe wie Kommunikation, Interaktion oder Massenkommunikation zunächst theoretisch erarbeitet, um dann in verschiedenen Medienpraxisfeldern die Bedeutung medienwissenschaftlicher Forschung für die Praxis kennen zu lernen. Dazu werden konkrete Fallstudien erarbeitet und analysiert. Leistungspunkte sollen in Form von Projekten und Präsentationen von den teilnehmenden Studierenden erworben werden.
