This course is designed for students of sociology on focuses on reading and writing. Using a mix of topical reading materials from different sources (academic journals, English textbooks for sociology, Internet texts), students will train a set of reading and lexical strategies (see below) to give them a better grasp on the very difficult texts they have to read.
