Problemorientierung und Selbsttätigkeit werden schon länger, nach PISA aber in besonderem Maße, für den Mathematikunterricht gefordert. In dem Seminar sollen neben allgemeinen Aspekten zu diesen Themen insbesondere einzelne Problemfelder für die Klassen 1 bis 10 behandelt werden. Dabei wird es zum Teil auch darum gehen, dass einzelne Problemfelder von den Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmern des Seminars erst einmal selbsttätig bearbeitet werden, damit das Reflektieren über Problemorientierung auf einer konkreten Basis stattfinden kann. Später sollen dann in Gruppen einzelne Unterrichtsvorschläge für einen problemorientierten Mathematikunterricht erarbeitet werden.
