In der Veranstaltung sollen einmal Inhaltsziele und allgemeine Ziele des Geometrieunterrichts (einschließlich verschiedener Konzeptionen von Geometrieunterricht) in den Klassen 1 bis 10 sowie die Aspekte der Begriffsbildung und der Raumanschauung behandelt werden. Weiterhin werden ausgewählte stoffdidaktische Fragen bezüglich Formenlehre in der Grundschule, Symmetrie und Abbildungen, Flächeninhalt und Volumen, Dreiecks- und Viereckslehre, Ähnlichkeitslehre, Satzgruppe des Pythagoras, Kreis und Kreisberechnungen sowie die Einführung in die Trigonometrie thematisiert und didaktisch diskutiert. Daneben sollen auch die Gesichtspunkte der Medien (insbesondere Dynamische Geometriesoftware), der Problemorientierung und der Geometrie im Alltag erörtert werden.
Eine schriftliche Überprüfung von Grundkenntnissen findet am 19. 1. 2010 um 16-18 in H15 statt.
