Die Zukunftswerkstatt wird in der allgemeinen Erwachsenenbildung wie auch der betrieblichen Weiterbildung eingesetzt, wenn es darum geht, auf der Basis gemeinsamer Gestaltungs- und Lernerfahrungen neue Perspektiven zu eröffnen und realistische Wege zu gehen. Wie diese Lernerfahrungen gestaltet und moderiert werden können, soll Gegenstand des Workshops sein. Die Zukunftswerkstatt umfasst drei Phasen: Kritik, Phantasie, Verwirklichung
Im Workshop geht es um: die Teilnahme an allen Phasen der Zukunftswerkstatt, ggf. die Übernahme einer Moderationsrolle in Teilabschnitten, die Beteiligung an der Dokumentation.
Das Thema der Zukunftswerkstatt soll lauten: Die Zukunft der Erwachsenenbildung

Teilnahmebegrenzung 20 Personen; die Veranstaltung richtet sich an Absolventinnen und Absolventen des Zyklus Moderation
