360014 Jona und das Zwölfprophetenbuch (S) (WiSe 2009/2010)

Gegenstand der Veranstaltung ist das Buch Jona. Nach einer Einführung in die Exegese der Prophetenbücher und die Spezifika des Zwölfprophetenbuches stehen die Besonderheiten des Buches Jona zur Diskussion. Das Buch ist innerhalb des Zwölfprophetenbuches in mancherlei Hinsicht eine Ausnahme. Literarisch betrachtet ist es kein Prophetenbuch. Sein Verfasser gehörte nicht zu den öffentlich auftretenden Propheten. Das Jonabuch ist eher so etwas wie ein theologisches Summarium. Sein Text bezieht sich durch Verweise auf fast alle anderen atl Bücher. Theologisch vertritt der Verfasser des Jonabuches Positionen, die jenen anderer kanonischer Schriften (u.a.Esra, Nahum) explizit widersprechen.
Im Mittelpunkt unserer Überlegungen werden folgende Themen stehen:
Heils- und Unheilsprophetie, Monotheismus und Monolatrie/Polytheismus, Erwählung Israels und Schöpfungshandeln JHWHs. Das feine Netz von Verbindungslinien zwischen den Büchern Jona, Ezechiel und Jeremia, sowie Nahum und Jesaja wird dabei zu beachten sein.
Voraussetzung: Bereitschaft zur Übernahme von Kurzreferaten bzw eines längeren Referates.
