Das Seminar vermittelt einen Überblick über die Wissenschaftssprache Deutsch und Einblicke in die Berufssprache Deutsch als Fremdsprache.
Die Wissenschaftssprache Deutsch und ihr gegenwärtiger Status, ihre Charakteristika (Lexik, Syntax, Text) und die durch Studierende vertretenen einzelnen wissenschaftlichen Fachsprachen werden im Seminar behandelt.
Ein Schwerpunkt bildet die sog. alltägliche Wissenschaftssprache, die Studierende rezeptiv wie auch produktiv beherrschen müssen.
Die Berufssprache DaF wird anhand regionaler Lehrwerke für das Berufsfeld Tourismus genauer betrachtet.
