Im Zentrum stehen die methodischen und psychometrischen Grundlagen der psychologischen Diagnostik. Themenschwerpunkte sind u. a. Grundlagen und Rahmenbedingungen der Diagnostik: Geschichte, Aufgaben, Zielsetzungen und Strategien der Diagnostik; Datenquellen und Methoden der Datenerhebung; klassische Testtheorie und Item-Response-Theorien; Konstruktionsprinzipien psychometrischer Tests; Methoden der Item- und Testanalyse; Teststandards; Gütekriterien psychometrischer Tests; Testnormierung; Testfairness; Speed- und Power Tests; Eigenschafts- versus Verhaltensdiagnostik; Erhebungsstrategien; Einzel- versus Gruppentestung; Gestaltung der Testsituation; computergestützte Diagnostik; Grundprinzipien multimethodaler Diagnostik; Merkmale und Konstruktbereiche; Anwendungsbereiche psychologischer Diagnostik

Das Seminar richtet sich an vor allem an Studierende im Hauptstudium des Diplomstudiengangs Psychologie, die sich auf die Prüfung im Fach Psychologische Diagnostik vorbereiten möchten. Darüberhinaus können Studierende des BSc-Studiengangs Psychologie teilnehmen, die ihre Kenntnisse in der psychologischen Diagnostik vertiefen und hierzu Leistungspunkte im Modul „Individuelle Ergänzung“ erwerben möchten.
Eine Anmeldung ist nicht erforderlich. Erfahrungsgemäß reduziert sich die Anzahl der Teilnehmer/innen im Verlauf der ersten Seminarsitzungen auf eine Zahl, die unterhalb der angegebenen, maximalen Zahl an Teilnehmer/inne/n liegt. Sofern wider Erwarten eine Auswahl stattfinden muß, werden Studierende des Diplomstudiengangs Psychologie, die einen Leistungsnachweis erbringen müssen, bevorzugt berücksichtigt.
