Die rasante Entwicklung im Bereich der neuen Technologien lädt Lernende und Lehrende zu immer neuen Formen der Nutzung von Online-Medien für das Fremdsprachenlernen ein. Mittlerweile kann man E-mail und Chat fast schon als "traditionelle" Neue Medien betrachten. Auch Weblogs und Webquests wurden bereits für Zwecke des Fremdsprachenlernens adaptiert. Im Seminar wird die Frage gestellt, welches Potenzial in diesen und anderen Online-Medien steckt und wie man es für das Lehren und Lernen im Fach Deutsch als Fremd- und Zweitsprache nutzen kann?
Der Schwerpunkt wird dabei nicht auf Einzelmedien, sondern auf sog. "netzgestützten Angeboten" liegen, die von verschiedenen Mittlerorganisationen des Faches Deutsch als Fremd- und Zweitsprache angeboten werden. Die Angebote werden im Seminar analysiert und mit Blick auf mögliche Einsatzszenarien bewertet.
