Ziel der Orientierenden Praxisstudien ist es, den Bachelorstudierenden mit Kernfach Mathematik fruehzeitig einen Einblick in die Berufspraxis von Mathematikerinnen und Mathematiker zu vermitteln.
Dazu werden im Berufsleben stehende Mathematiker/innen (vielfach ehemalige Absolventinnen und Absolventen unserer Fakultaet)
als Referenten eingeladen, die ueber ihr aktuelles Berufsfeld, ueber ihren Karriereweg seit dem Studium und allgemeine Fragen der Berufsperspektive berichten.Nach Moeglichkeit sollen verschiedene Wirtschaftsbranchen aber auch das Lehramt an Gymnasien und Gesamtschulen beruecksichtigt werden.
Lebhafte Diskussionen mit den Gaesten sind erwuenscht !Die Studierenden werden zu Beginn in kleinen Gruppen den jeweiligen Referenten oder auch einem Thema (z. B. Jobboersen) zugeordnet.
Sie haben die Aufgabe, die Gaeste zu betreuen bzw. anzukuendigen und sich ueber das jeweilige Berufsfeld zu informieren.
Im weiteren Verlauf berichten die Studierenden dann in Kurzreferaten ueber ihr Thema / ihren Referenten und fertigen in Kleingruppen eine
entsprechende Ausarbeitung an.Die Orientierenden Praxisstudien sind verpflichtend fuer Bachelorstudierende mit Kernfach Mathematik.
