Bei der Varianz- und Regressionsanalyse handelt es sich um grundlegende Verfahren der sozialwissenschaftlichen Statistik. Es wird Varianz in einen systematischen und einen nicht erklärbaren Teil zerlegt. Beide Verfahren sind Teil des Linearen Modells der Statistik. Themen der Veranstaltung sind Korrelation, Regression, Varianzanalyse und Effektmaße. Dies wird an Daten aufgezeigt und geübt.
