In this course you are going to learn how to plan, conduct, and evaluate your own research projects in linguistics. We are going to cover the basics of each of the steps involved in this process, e.g. asking interesting research questions and choosing the right data collection methods, and you are going to carry out your own project as part of this class. This project can be in any area of linguistics and there are going to be plenty of guests talking about their research to inspire you for your own work.
