Mit dieser Vorlesung beginne ich einen auf drei Semester angelegten, bis in die 70er Jahre führenden Überblick zur Literatur nach 1945. Leitend wird die Vorstellung von Literaturgeschichte als Geschichte literarischer Kommunikation sein. Ich will mich zunächst auf die ersten Nachkriegsjahre konzentrieren und dabei fragen, ob und wie man Literatur als Beitrag zur kulturellen Erneuerung und Reorganisation Deutschlands verstehen kann.
Die Vorlesung wird durch ein Begleitseminar ergänzt.
