230351 Literarischer Expressionismus (S) (WiSe 2006/2007)

Im Mittelpunkt des Seminars wird die expressionistische Lyrik stehen, die wesentlich für die Berühmtheit des "expressionistischen Jahrzehnts" gesorgt hat. Vor allem am Beispiel von Kurt Pinthus' Anthologie Menschheitsdämmerung sollen hier exemplarische Gedichtanalysen versucht werden. Daneben sollen aber auch in einem zweiten Teil das expressionistische Drama (Toller, Kaiser z.B.) und auch die wenig bekannte Prosa des Expressionismus (Heym, Döblin) angesprochen werden.
Teilnahmevoraussetzung ist das Bestehen einer Zugangsklausur! Vorausgesetzt wird dafür bereits in der ersten Sitzung die Kenntnis des Vorwortes der Menschheitsdämmerung, die durch die Kurzklausur überprüft wird.
Seminarlektüre (zur Anschaffung): Kurt Pinthus (Hg.), Menschheitsdämmerung (Rowohlt Taschenbuch; andere und ältere Ausgaben sind prinzipiell auch möglich).
Zur Einführung: Silvio Vietta/Hans-Georg Kemper, Expressionismus: Deutsche Literatur im 20. Jahrhundert, 6. Aufl. 1997 (UTB Bd. 3).
