Das Seminar wird in grundlegende Fragen der Literaturwissenschaft einführen wie z. B.: Was ist ein literarischer Text? Was heißt, einen Text zu verstehen? Wie finde ich Zugänge zu einem literarischen Text? Welche wissenschaftlichen Hilfsmittel gibt es dazu? Wie finde ich Literatur in der Bibliothek? Wie konzipiere ich eine Hausarbeit? Was heißt überhaupt wissenschaftliches Schreiben?
Das Seminar ist eine Pflichtveranstaltung für alle, die mit dem Studium der Literaturwissenschaft (Bachelor) beginnen.Grundlegende, einführende Literatur wird zu Beginn des Semesters in einem Semesterapparat in der UB verfügbar sein.
