Die Regierungsfraktionen des Deutschen Bundestages haben im Dezember 2004 den "Entwurf eines Gesetzes zur Umsetzung europäischer Antidiskriminierungsrichtlinien" vorgelegt, der seitdem sehr kontrovers diskutiert wird. Im Mittelpunkt der Debatte steht das künftige Antidiskriminierungsgesetz, mit dem bedeutsame Rechtsänderungen nicht nur im Arbeitsrecht, sondern auch und insbesondere im allgemeinen Zivilrecht geplant sind. Das Seminar soll den europarechtlichen Hintergrund dieses Gesetzgebungsprojekts beleuchten und sich den damit verbundenen rechtspolitischen Grundsatzfragen ebenso widmen wie ausgewählten Detailproblemen.
Im Seminar kann je nach übernommenem Referatsthema ein Wahlfachschein nach der alten Studienordnung erworben werden.
