Wellness erweitert das Gesundheitsverständnis und entwickelt damit auch neue Inhalte und Formen der Gesundheitsbildung. Diese neue didaktische Struktur soll unter dem Begriff "Wellness-Didaktik" genauer analysiert und präzisiert werden. Als Beispiel dafür wird der aktuelle "Boom" im Bereich von "NordicWalking" insbesondere in den Kurorten und Gesundheitsregionen wie Lippe mit der Entwicklung von "NordicWalking-Parks", "NordicWalking-Routen" wie z. B. dem "CheruskerWalk" (geplant für 2005) und dem "BäderWalk" (2006) analysiert und diskutiert. - Für diese neuen gesundheitsfördernden Angebote wird sowohl die Aus- und Fortbildung des Personals der Anbieter als auch eine wellnessorientierte Gesundheitbildung der Teilnehmer erforderlich. Hierfür grundlegend ist eine Wellness-Didaktik.

Erwartet werden Teilnehmer, die an der Entwicklung einer Wellness-Didaktik für die Gesundheitsbildung für Zielgruppen wie für Anbieter in Wellness- und Bildungseinrichtungen, damit auch im Schulsystem interessiert sind.
