Die Vorlesung vertieft den Stoff der Ringvorlesung Spektroskopie. Sie ergänzt theoretische Grundlagen, Methoden und Anwendungen, setzt jedoch andere Akzente und behandelt weitere moderne Techniken der Spektroskopie und Strukturanalyse. Vorherige Teilnahme an der Ringvorlesung Spektroskopie wird empfohlen. Bei der Vorstellung moderner Methoden vor allem in der 2. Semesterhälfte kann z.T. noch auf besondere Anregungen aus dem Teilnehmerkreis eingegangen werden.
