Bei diesem Thema denken manche nur an Koerper von Primzahlordnung. Aber es gibt sehr viel mehr endliche Koerper, naemlich zu jeder Primzahlpotenz p^n (bis auf Isomorphie genau) einen mit p^n Elementen. Und dies sind auch alle.
Endliche Koerper haben in den letzten Jahrzehnten insbesondere wegen ihrer Anwendungen in der Codierungstheorie zunehmende Beachtung gefunden.
Das Proseminar soll in erster Linie von den TeilnehmerInnen durch Vortraege und Diskussionsbeitraege gestaltet werden. Die Vortragsthemen werden in der ersten Semesterwoche verteilt.
