Die Vorlesung beabsichtigt, in die Geschichte des Nationalsozialismus zwischen 1933 und 1945 einzuführen. Es wird ein Überblick über die Entstehung und Etablierung des nationalsozialistischen Regimes gegeben und seine politische, wirtschaftliche und gesellschaftliche Entwicklung nachgezeichnet. Hierbei sollen die wesentlichen Aspekte der nationalsozialistischen Herrschaft und der nationalsozialistischen Gesellschaft wie Antisemitismus und Rassismus exemplarisch verdeutlicht werden.
