In diesem Seminar werden phonetische Analysewerkzeuge und phonologische Beschreibungsverfahren erarbeitet, die dazu dienen, lautsprachliche Varietäten zu ermitteln und darzustellen. Zum phonetischen Arbeitsbereich gehören auch technische Verfahren zur Analyse von Sprachdaten am Computer. Im praktischen Teil des Seminars werden dann zu unterschiedlichen phonetisch-phonologischen Fragestellungen Daten erhoben. Diese können sich z.B. auf lautliche Varietäten in der Sprache von Kindern und Jugendlichen unterschiedlichen Alters und unterschiedlicher sprachlicher Herkunft beziehen.
In diesem Rahmen besteht dann auch die Möglichkeit, eine Bachelor-Arbeit zu schreiben.Zur Vorbereitung empfohlene Literatur:
Kohler, K.J. 1995(2): Einführung in die Phonetik des Deutschen. Berlin: Erich Schmidt Verlag.
