Ziel der Vorlesung ist ein besseres Verständnis der Anreizproblematik, die im Zusammenhang mit der Regulierung von Netzwerkindustrien unter asymmetrischer Information auftritt.
Zunächst wird ein theoretischer Modellrahmen zur Behandlung von Anreizproblemen erarbeitet. Anschließend werden im Rahmen dieses Modellrahmens verschiedene wirtschaftspolitische Fragestellungen diskutiert, die insbesondere relevant für die Telekommunikationsindustrie sind.
