Grundlagenseminar: Warum und mit welchen Folgen sind Organisationen soziale Systeme?
Die Ausgangsfrage des Seminars wird dazu genutzt, die unterschiedlichen Antworten und ihre Begründungen der unterschiedlichen Autoren kennen zu lernen und zu diskutieren. Als Leitfaden zur Bewältigung der nötigen Selektivität dient dabei die Theorie- und Rezeptionsgeschichte der Organisationssoziologie Niklas Luhmanns. Sie kann als der Prozess der Verfertigung einer Metatheorie der Organisation gelesen werden, für den zu fragen ist: Auf welche Theoriestücke greift er zurück, um wie auf eine dezidierte Systemtheorie der Organisation vorgreifen zu können? Dieses Auswahlverfahren der Doppelbelichtung soll dazu anhalten, die angeeigneten Grundbegriffe beweglich zu denken und sie in ihrer Genese zu verstehen.
