Nach einer Einführung in die Jugendsoziologie durch den Veranstalter soll zunächst die geschichtliche Entwicklung der Jugend als soziales Phänomen behandelt werden. Anschließend sind neuere empirische Untersuchungen zu aktuellen Fragen der Jugendsoziologie vorzustellen und zu diskutieren. Ziel der Übung ist es, auf der Basis eines theoretischen Bezugsrahmens und der Kentnis der historischen Entwicklung einen Überblick über den aktuellen Stand der Jugendforschung in der Bundesrepublik zu erhalten.
