Die Entwicklung bundesweit gültiger Bildungsstandards auf der Basis von Kompetenzmodellen ist ein zentrales Element aktueller bildungspolitischer Steuerung und ein Thema für die Bildungsforschung. Im Seminar beschäftigen wir uns mit der Expertise des BBF (u.a. Eckard Klieme), mit der Sicht von Verbänden zu dieser Expertise und mit der Weiterentwicklung der einheitlichen Prüfungsanforderungen (EPA) im Abitur. Darüber hinaus sollen die Themen Kerncurriculum Oberstufe, mögliche didaktische Veränderungen durch das Zentralabitur und die Veränderungen durch die neuen EPA (ab 2002) besprochen werden. Es soll die Frage untersucht werden, ob die dargelegten Kompetenzen und Standards des Abschlusses zu der gewünschten Individualisierung von Unterricht beitragen können.
