Renaissance und Barock sind uns geläufige Begriffe aus unterschiedlichen kulturhistorischen Zusammenhängen. Nur selten machen wir uns klar, dass diese Bezeichnungen viel später als die eigentlichen Epochen selbst entstanden sind und nichts weiter als Sammelbegriffe für höchst unterschiedliche Tendenzen der Zeiten sind.
Auf der anderen Seite sind gerade Renaissance und Barock sehr genau untersucht und miteinander verglichen worden. Besonders bekannt ist in diesem Zusammenhang das Buch "Kunstgeschichtliche Grundbegriffe" von Heinrich Wölfflin, das zur Vorbereitung der Veranstaltung empfohlen wird.Bitte zur Vorbereitung eine Sammlung mit Bildern, Tondokumenten u.s.w. zum Feld "Renaissance und Barock" anlegen.
