El concepto hegemónico de lo “fronterizo” se ha enfocado en la relación entre México y Estados Unidos. Sin embargo, es innegable la existencia de relaciones y narrativas de frontera en diferentes zonas de las Américas.
Los productos culturales generados dentro de estas relaciones nos permiten analizar las implicaciones históricas y sociales que acompañan los diferentes flujos migratorios. De igual manera, los estudios de frontera se enfocan en los puntos de contacto entre los límites tanto de identidades nacionales como de fronteras culturales.
En el seminario revisaremos ejemplos de narrativa fronteriza y repasaremos diferentes teorías del análisis literario
