Referentinnen und Referenten aus dem In- und Ausland werden über aktuelle Forschungen berichten. Ebenso wird Einblick gegeben in die erste international vergleichbare Repräsentativerhebung (Prävalenzstudie) zu Lebenssituation, Sicherheit und Gesundheit von Frauen, die am IFF durchgeführt wurde.

Das Kolloquium richtet sich an fortgeschrittene Studierende sowie an Kolleginnen und Kollegen aus der Forschung. Es hat den Charakter einer Ringvorlesung mit Diskussion, die auch Berichte aus den Arbeitsbereichen der Teilnehmenden umfasst.
