Ziel der Einführungswoche (IN DER WOCHE VOR SEMESTERBEGINN) ist es, Studienanfängern und -anfängerinnen einen Einblick in das Spektrum der historischen Teildisziplinen zu vermitteln, zu denen in Bielefeld gelehrt und geforscht wird. Die Einführungswoche bietet hierbei die Möglichkeit, einen Teil der Lehrenden persönlich kennen zu lernen. Anahnd eines epochenübergreifenden Themas wird in Methoden und Arbeitsgebiete der Geschichtswissenschaft mit wechselnden Arbeits- und Präsentationsformen (Vorlesung, Seminar, Kleingruppenarbeit) eingeführt. Erwartet wird eine aktive Teilnahme der Studierenden. Das bedeutet, dass eine Teilnahme nur sinnvoll ist, wenn Sie über das reine Kursprogramm hinaus auch Zeit für vorbereitende Lektüre und das Gespräch mit Kommilitonen einplanen. Die einführungswoche ist eine Pflichtveranstaltung für alle Studienanfänger und -anfängerinnen.
