In dieser vertiefenden Übung werden die Themen der Sozialstrukturanalyse (Bevölkerungsentwicklung, Familie, Soziale Ungleichheit, Armut etc.) in die frühe Neuzeit (16.-18. Jahrhundert) zurück verfolgt und vergleichend auf die modernen Lagen bezogen. Ziel ist es, die sozialstrukturellen Prozesse aus einer langfristigen historischen Perspektive zu betrachten, die Eigenart moderner Sozialstrukturen herauszuarbeiten und das in den Einführungsveranstaltungen zur Sozialstrukturanalyse erworbene Wissen zu sichern.
