220042 De la conquista al indigenismo actual - la cultura de la memoria en Latinoamerica (Ü) (SoSe 2009)

La conquista es un elemento esencial de la actualidad política y mental de Latinoamérica. Especialmente en Bolivia, Ecuador, el Perú y Méjico los descendientes de las naciones indigenas vencidas por los conquistadores españoles del siglo 16 tratan de legitimar su lucha por su emanzipación política y económica refiriéndose a su pasado. No solo el movimiento zapatista de Chiapas sino también el nuevo presidente de Bolivia , Evo Morales, el primer indígena jefe de Estado, son ejemplos de esa cultura de la memoria. Posiciones radicales exigen dar la vuelta al proceso de la colonisación blanca y restituir las antiguas estructuras de la preconquista distanciándose del “imperialismo blanco”. Vamos a leer y analizar materiales de prensa y otros medios actuales. Para participar se necesita saber, hablar leer y escribir castellano.
