Das Internet ist längst zu einem wichtigen Arbeitsmittel auch für Historiker/innen geworden, doch der Umgang mit diesem "neuen Medium" ist keineswegs so einfach und selbstverständlich, wie dies auf den ersten Blick erscheinen mag. Die Übung wird nach einem kurzen Überblick und Geschichte und technische Grundlagen des Internet Probleme und Chancen der Arbeit mit diesem Medium ausloten, verschiedene Einsatzmöglichkeiten vorstellen und kritisch diskutieren und über aktuelle Trends und Projekte informieren.
