Die berufliche Weiterbildung ist zu einem der wichtigsten Bereiche der beruflichen Bildung geworden. Charakteristisch für diesen Bereich ist, dass eine Vielzahl von Bildungseinrichtungen - bei Dominanz der Betriebe - mit unterschiedlichen und z.T. gegensätzlichen gesellschaftspolitischen Interessen eine bunte Palette von Veranstaltungen anbieten, auf der alle Inhaltsbereiche beruflicher Arbeit, alle Anspruchsniveaus und eine Vielfalt von Angebotsformen vertreten sind. Wer im einzelnen diese Träger sind, mit welcher Zielsetzung, in welchem rechtlich-institutionellen Bedingungsrahmen sie arbeiten und mit welchen aktuellen Problemen bzw. Themen sich die berufliche Weiterbildung beschäftigt, soll im Seminar herausgearbeitet werden.
