Rope Skipping - das ist doch einfach nur Seilspringen, oder?
Eigentlich schon. Zumindest heißt es übersetzt erst mal nichts anderes. Dass beim Rope Skipping aber durchaus mehr dahinter steckt, als einfach nur Seilspringen, wollen wir in diesem Kurs zeigen. Rope Skipping kommt ursprünglich aus den USA und wird in Deutschland seit 1989/90 aktiv betrieben. Mit dem traditionellen Seilspringen mit Hanfseilen hat es aber nur noch sehr wenig zu tun. Durch den Einsatz von völlig neuem Seilmaterial und dazugehöriger Musik entsteht ein ganz neues Sprunggefühl. Rope Skipping stellt für Kinder, Jugendliche und Erwachsene im Bereich des Schul- und Vereinssports ein attraktives Bewegungsangebot dar.
Wir werden die unterschiedlichen Seile - Speed Rope, Beaded Rope und Double Dutch - kennenlernen und zunächst die Grundlagen (Sprungtechniken) dazu erarbeiten. Richtig interessant wird es dann bei den ersten Tricks wie Double Under, Side Criss Cross, Visitor Jump und Wheel. Die Seile lassen sich auf vielfältige Weise verwenden, der Phantasie sind keine Grenzen gesetzt. Dies wird insbesondere die Erarbeitung kleiner Kombinationen zeigen
