Im Kurs werden lateinische Texte des Mittelalters gelesen. Dabei werden Sprachkenntnisse vermittelt, aber auch historische und kulturelle Kontexte der Texte diskutiert.
Im Mittelpunkt steht die Historia Ecclesiastica Gentis Anglorum von Beda Venerabilis - eine englische Chronik aus dem 7./8. Jahrhundert.
Achtung: Die Veranstaltung beginnt erst am 19.10., in der zweiten Vorlesungswoche.
