Der Blockkurs "Formale Methoden 3: Annotation" wendet sich an alle Studierende des BA Linguistik im Hauptfach, die das Profil "Kommunikation" wählen (Studierende mit dem Profil "Texttechnologie" wählen bitte "Formale Methode 3: Unifikation").
Das Seminar bietet eine Einführung in das "Handwerk" der linguistischen Analyse von Audio- und Videodaten. Der Schwerpunkt liegt auf der Transkription mit GAT und der Mehrebenenannotation mit ELAN. Weitere Inhalte der Veranstaltung sind:

Transkription:
Übungen zum Transkribieren (mit IPA/SAMPA, GAT)
(kurze) Vorstellung und Diskussion anderer Transkriptionssysteme
Kennenlernen von Transkriptionssoftware.

Annotation:
Einführung in die Mehrebenenannotation
Vorstellung verschiedener Programme
Ausführliche Arbeit und Übung mit ELAN
Verschiedene Anwendungen/Auswertungen annotierter Daten (Grundlagen).

Zur Teilnahme ist die Bereitschaft, sich aktiv an den Übungen zu beteiligen, Voraussetzung. Das Seminar schließt mit einer Klausur am Freitag nachmittag ab.

Da dieses Seminar im MML statt finden wird (damit jeder an einem Computer arbeiten kann), ist eine frühzeitige und verbindliche Anmeldung zu diesem Seminar sowohl im ekvv (damit verbunden: Teilnehmermanagement) sowie per Email erforderlich. Über die Teilnahme entscheidet die Reihenfolge der Anmeldungen per Email an mich persönlich (birte.schaller@gmail.com).
