Jesu Botschaft läßt sich in dem Satz zusammenfassen: "Die Gottesherrschaft ist nahegekommen!" (Mk 1,15) - zu ergänzen bliebe "in mir hier und jetzt". Dass er mit dieser Behauptung nicht nur eine provozierende, ansonsten aber leere These aufstellt, versucht Jesus dadurch zu beweisen, dass er die proklamierte Heilswirklichkeit in und durch Zeichen wie Wunder, Mahlgemeinschaften und Schuldvergebungen aufleuchten und konkret werden läßt. Das Seminar möchte zum einen einen Überblick über drei wichtige Zeichenhandlungen Jesu geben, zum anderen an ausgewählten Beispielen untersuchen, wie sie die Nähe der Gottesherrschaft vergegenwärtigen.

Literatur wird im Semesterapparat bereitgestellt. Hingewiesen wird aber jetzt schon auf die entsprechenden Kommentare zu den vier Evangelien und der Apostelgeschichte.
