In dem Seminar sollen grundlegende Inhalte der Fachdidaktik für das Schulfach Philosophie vermittelt werden. Dazu werden zunächst theoretische Positionen der Fachdidaktik erarbeitet, anschließend die ministeriellen Vorgaben des Faches (Kompetenzorientierte Lehrpläne) geklärt und die an den Schulen verwendeten Lehrwerke und Fachzeitschriften vorgestellt. Nach einer Erarbeitung verschiedener fachspezifischer Methoden werden in Unterrichtssimulationen schulpraktische Versuche durchgeführt. Damit dient das Seminar ebenfalls der Vorbereitung für das in den folgenden Semesterferien abzulegende Blockpraktikum
