Das Lektüreseminar bezieht sich auf ein kürzlich erschienenes Buch von Claus Bundesen & Thomas Habekost (2008), Principles of Visual Attention: Linking Mind and Brain. Oxford University Press. Im zurückliegenden Wintersemester 2008/09 wurde der erste Teil des Buches (Psychology of Visual Attention) erarbeitet, während im Sommersemester der zweite Teil (Neurophysiology and Neuroanatomy of Visual Attention) im Fokus stehen soll. Neueinsteiger/innen sind herzlich willkommen – vorausgesetzt wird eine gründliche Kenntnis des ersten Teil des Buches.
