Die UniBigBand bereitet im Wintersemester 2017/18 das Konzertprogramm für das ins WS verschobene Release Konzertes der zweiten CD, "Spektrum", im Oktober 2017 und das 3. Konzert der "Triple Concert" Reihe im Januar 2018 vor.
Weitere Konzerttermine während der Vorlesungszeit sind in Vorbereitung.Probenbeginn ist der 05.09.2017.
Auf dem Programm in diesem Semester stehen, neben Titeln von der CD, diesmal:
"King Porter '94", "Jig" und "Two And" von Bob Brookmeyer
"Soundpieces for Jazz Orchestra" von Oliver Nelson,
"Shady Side" von Neal Slater,
"Joy Spring" von Clifford Brown und "Chelsea Bridge" von Billy Strayhorn arrangiert vom Leiter HHRösch.Die UBB kann neue Mitspielende nur nach Absprache mit dem Leiter und nach Absolvieren einer Audition aufnehmen.
Voraussetzungen sind:
Blattspiel-Fähigkeit, die nötige Instrumentaltechnik, Spielerfahrung im Bigband Ensemble, Solo-Spiel, Spielsicherheit in den Jazzstilistiken.Zuverlässigkeit und regelmäßige Probenteilnahme sind grundlegend und verstehen sich von selbst.
