230466 Victorian Poetry (S) (WiSe 2017/2018)

Contents, comment

The course will introduce and analyse representative examples of the poetry written by major poets of the Victorian age, as for instance Tennyson, Browning, Arnold, the Rossettis, Hopkins et al.

The course texts will be available at the beginning of the term.

A Studienleistung will be awarded for regular attendance, becoming an expert for one of the poems and a written summary of the analysis of that poem.
