Das "Forum" ist eine Veranstaltungsreihe des Praktikumsbüros der "Berufswerkstatt Geschichte, die dem Informationsbedarf der Studierenden hinsichtlich berufsorientierender Fragen Rechnung tragen soll. Zu diesem Zweck werden Themenabende zu berufsperspektivischen Problemen von HistorikerInnen initiiert und Berufspraktiker eingeladen. Für Studierende besteht die Möglichkeit, Qualifikationsarbeiten, die in Kooperation mit einer außeruniversitären Institution entstehen oder eine praxisorientierte Zielsetzung verfolgen, vorzustellen.
Das genaue Programm wird zu Semesterbeginn bekannt gegeben.
