In diesem Seminar erfolgt eine Einführung in die Grundlagen pädagogischer Beobachtung und sonderpädagogischer Diagnostik. Aufbauend auf den im Berufsfeldpraktikum erworbenen diagnostischen Kenntnissen werden diagnostische Kategorien bei emotionalen und sozialen Beeinträchtigungen auf der Basis pädagogischer und psychologischer Entwicklungs- und Lerntheorien bearbeitet. In ihre systematische Beobachtung und Analyse mit quantitativen und qualitativen diagnostischen Instrumenten wird eingeführt. Zentrale diagnostische Aufgabenfelder für Lehrpersonen werden auf der institutionellen und methodischen Ebene fachwissenschaftlich reflektiert, sodass die Relevanz diagnostischer Entscheidungen und der Methodeneinsatz bestimmt werden kann.
