Dieser Fachkurs gibt Einblick in Gegenstand und Methode der sozial wissenschaftlich orientierten Geographie. Ausgehend von den Erfordernissen des Sachunterrichts werden fachorientierte Fragestellungen behandelt, wie z.B. Freizeitverhalten ('Kinderspiel und gebaute Umwelt'), Umweltproblematik ('Staudammprojekt am Nil') oder städtischer Lebensraum ('Wandlungen im Bereich der Stadtmitte'). An einzelnen Stellen sollen Fragen der didaktischen Umsetzung angesprochen werden.
